I'm Lucas Quan, an Economics and Human Development student at Vanderbilt. I grew up in a quiet town called Los Gatos CA but I'm living in San Francisco right now!
I'm currently a 'growth-designer' at Hard Launch. I help early-stage, high-growth startups launch, typically out of stealth and most recently for a company called Tomo. That means launch strategy, brand identity, design collateral, and growth experiments - usually all at once, always under pressure, and typically from zero. These launch efforts are typically back-to-back, sometimes overlapping.
This summer: launching a super secret consumer company…
Later this summer: moving to nyc for another stealth consumer bet… 🎶
Last school year: launched companies like Osmosis, Fulcrum, Metis, Eigen, & Omen
Last summer: product marketing at C/Side, a b2b browser security company
Current fixations include:
Blonde, Frank Ocean (and reprocessing these sounds now that I'm older)
Lego sets (but no instructions!!!)
Guga Foods epic steak experiments
